Post by: lizardgti on 06 May 2015, 22:57
hello all im starting a new project as I have allways loved vw golf's, I brought a mk4 golf gti 1.8 turbo drives great no smoke when you first start it  no smoke when driving it no smoke when turbo kicks in but if you leave it to idle for a few minutes then give it a rev,  a puff of white/blue smoke blows out the exhaust.
been told by some people its the turbo and some saying its the valve stem seal.
can anyone help thanks
