Title: Derby Area Vag-Com Soundakator Adjustment Anyone?

Just wondering if there is anyone in the Derby area willing to lend a hand with vag-com?

I have an ancient version 409 and ODBII cable but don't think this is up to the job?

Looking to have the ridiculous vibrator/speaker altered. I did unplug it briefly but wish to have the dealer look why my vehicle keeps forgetting its driver profile. Didn't want them to have an issue with it been unplugged. So I have pluged it back in and god it's an embaresment the racket it makes.

Unless this is something I could ask the dealer to alter whilst investigating the amnesia.?

The old 409 can't deal with the mk7, you need the latest VCDS hardware that supports CAN bus plus recent version of software that supports MQB cars.

Ask the dealer if he can disable it.

I have full VCDS in case and occassionally head up to Derbyshire but never know too much in advance when work send me anywhere.

i can sort that, i'm in long eaton. i usually leave all my gear at work but will have it at home this weekend if you wanted to pop over on sunday.

Thanks for the offer, I missed your reply, didn't get a notification email.

Is it ok to get in touch later if I can't get the dealer to lower this when looking at my driver profile problems.
