Title: Anyone sold their GTD recently

As above, I've recently just advertised my GTD, was wondering if anyone had sold theirs private and what figure to expect to achieve :huh:

Car is a white 3 door with 7.5k miles, manual in as new condition :smiley:

I'd expect £2k less than VW dealership forecourt price for average mileage based on age (10k miles pa ). Adjust accordingly for lower mileage (about £70 per 1000 miles).

Problem you're going to have selling privately is most people will want finance or to be able to PX their current car. So the market of buyers with cash ready to go is fairly limited.

Sold mine 2nd week of January, it was a year old with 8.5k, winter pack and alloys. I got 21k for it after owning it for 12mths, not bad as I bought it for 24k.

Sold it to a car dealer who had a customer for it..
