Title: help with retrofitting my heated seats.
Post by: fruitmachinestu on 19 April 2015, 19:41
Hi does anyone know were i can take my car to get the seats wired, or is this something someone on here can do. For a fee obviously.
Let me explain.
I bought my gti a few weeks ago. The previous owner had bought and fitted the half leather seats, he had upgraded from the cloth seats.
But he hasn't wired the heated seats or the power adjuster on the side of the seat.
The controls are there on the dash but the seats aren't working.
It looks a bit complicated for me.
Any help would be much appreciated.

A few reputable trimmers in the UK probably can do it, think the closest to you is Plush Automotive. They build top end show car interiors so if they can't help I'll be surprised.

The only other place I know of is near myself in London, LG Trimmers. Massive trek for just that but should you find yourself down this way for a while, worth a phone call...
