Title: Advice Decat downpipe mk6
Post by: Mike88 on 15 April 2015, 21:34
just thinking of fitting a decat downpipe to my mk6 gti. Seen 1 new on eBay think it's turbo revs £139 has anyone bought 1 of these. If so what they like. And would this cause any probs or lights to come on dash. Thanks.

This.

I have a turbo revs decat mated to the standard system. It's quite raspy to the point I want back on the ramps to check for leaks. Although it has to be said the standard system is raspy to begin with, the decat has probably made it louder.
The dsg farts are louder which I like. There's no drone and under normal driving it's only a tad bit louder than stock when cruising.

Having looked at every YouTube video of a mk6 with exhaust systems, I'd advise to get a well known name.
I'll try and get a video done.
Hope this helps.

(No dash lights yet but when the cat comes I'll get it mapped out)
