Title: Hello from a new member.

Hi, my name is Sam and I'm a GTI fan without a GTI currently living in the Lake District.
My main reason for joining the forum is to pick peoples brains as I intend to buy a MK2, preferably one that
needs a lot of work. If anybody knows of a Mk 2 that needs work, two door is my first choice, let me know.
Does anybody know if an 1988 in red, E244 LPT, is still around.
