Found this on ebay - anybody ever bought one of these cheap chips?

nope, im sure there more of a resistor that just restricts the amount of air being let in. or something along those lines

if you fit it u might not feel any difference but in your mind u will know you put a chip in and then think theres a difference if ya get me

Cheers Sellers - I didn't think it would be up to much, too cheap for a start! Just curious really - 6hp for £30 had to be investigated............... :grin:

i think a few people off here have had them and theyve worked, not major gains but they do help the responce problems...

the resistor type 'chips' that are for sale on ebay are the shat things that are just a resistior that plugs into your airflow meter plug... these just increase the amount of fuel going into your engine by making the ecu think its cold, and more air is entering than it is...... load of shat really.. they sell for about £3.99 lol

wait for some one who has had one to see what there responce is... then decide... £24 aint bad i dont think......

This guy is selling a replacement chip not one of them stupid resistors. He even says that in his ad. I would buy one. Your not gonna get loads more power but sounds like they give a good improvement for the money.

There cheap becuse in reality they only cost pennies to produce and program.
