Title: Boring topic

Is anyone using G13 coolant in their mk2? Apparently it will mix ok with G12 & G11 so you don't need to worry if you don't do a full on coolant flush, and it's apparently 'better' than older equivalent. So, is anyone using it, is there really a significant difference, or is the good olde G12 still the way forward?

Boring answer, yes I'm using it. Been in a year, but only hD the car a year, did a full flush when I bought it. No problems here, although I've prob only done around 500 miles, and none in the winter. Afaik g11 g12 is now unavailable?

Yeah they're still available, I think its just the stealers who have stopped doing them. G13 cost more so the stealers are defo going to favour that as they can put 'dealer tax' on top!!
