Is the oil filter on an edition 35 different to the gti's, if so which one do I need, part numbers would be good.

Im not 100% sure, but VW or Euro car parts could check for you.

Without knowing the year and engine code I would guess at 2010.

Oil filter - 06J 115 403 C - £13.57 was dropped on 01/10/2011 for 06J 115 403 J - £13.93
