Title: GTD Ordered!

Just placed the order for my GTD today! Now the agonising wait begins.

I've been given a provisional build Week 28, my current car lease ends in early July so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it is brought forward. Car is standard spec with Carbon Grey Metallic Paint so hopefully this will increase the chances of coming forward!

How long are people generally waiting from build date until delivery at the moment?

I ordered my R on BW39/2014 and am looking to get my provisional BW4>BW8>BW16>BW14>BW17>BW16>BW21>BW18 finalised and locked out this Friday. Looking at an 8 month wait total if it doesn't slip further. :shocked:

Glad to see the GTDs aren't taking nearly as long.

I have a MK6 Carbon Grey - good choice of colour :wink:

Does anyone know if there is a way to check VW stock at the port, other than the dealer doing it? I was told it can change daily and would be keen to keep an eye out for one the same as my spec coming in earlier.
