Title: Rear Passenger door rattle
Post by: karlak on 30 March 2015, 19:14
Have a rattle from the top of the trim, on the rear passenger door, right behind my ear.  I can make it stop by just pushing on the top of the trim.

Anyone know how the trim comes off ?  Would rather sort myself than book a dealer visit and the hassle of courtesy car etc.

Isn't it just a clip on/off piece?  Ignore me if not

instead of removing panels, can you prize it open a bit and wedge some black foam tape in it?

Got exactly the same problem.  I'm loathed to remove door panels but I find lowering the window just a tiny bit stops it.

Mine is definitely the trim.  A bit of folded up cardboard has fixed it until the car goes in the garage for service etc.
