I've been away 5 days on the Staples to Naples Banger Rally and you're all fighting??
Right, down to the stats - the Froggie car didn't make it up the Swiss passes.
The Kraut car did (golf mk2 1.6).
Nuff said, i rest my (albeit dodgy, but not as dodgy as some of the cars i saw) case to rest.

To be honest, i thought the forum was about to be renamed www.forum.pug205gti.co.uk before i left. all these weirdos coming forward expressing their true desire that they miss their motorised roller skate and really the only reason they bought a mk2 was because it DIDN'T FALL APART, well it does, just slower.

since when does anyone join an forum for a reasoned argument that goes along the lines of "my d*ck is bigger than yours".
if the basis of your argument is some weird pissing contest then the reply "i don't give a ffck" is a perfectly valid response.
lets analyse this a bit more:
1. My Golf is better than yours.
Hmm, let me think - i don't give a ffck. Yes, my original response was correct. You see - I don't give a ffck whether your car is better than mine. I don't have an inferioirity complex that says "mines better thans yours bullsh*t".
2. My Skyline GTR is better than your Golf.
Who gives a ffck? This is a GTI forum!! My Ferrari is better than your Mini - who ffcking cares!? Lets be frank, jv was quite specific when he set up this forum, you see, it involves two words that catergorizies it extremely well.
The first word if GOLF. The second is GTI. Making GOLFGTI - pretty specific don't you think? For the life of me i cannot find the work SKYLINE in it.
So why do i give a ffck about some guy who is desperate to maintain his inferiority complex.
3. My 346 bhp Westfield is better than your gold.
GGEEESSSHH - this guy goes on. Has he got a really small knob or something - instead of buying one big car to impress the girls - he bought 3 cars. I don't give a ffck is a correct response.

Those people who join this club, do so for their love of the Golf, and not for their love of Citroens, Peugeots or any other manufacturer - French or otherwise. So to come here and start criticising peoples for owning a Golf and beleiving theirs is better than your "inferior" make, AND THEN expecting to be able to change their opinions really makes you look rather stupid indeed. I saw a peugeot 306 5 door at the local halfords with a HUGE rear bumber and twin exhausts coming from the centre - nothing unusual there - except the exhaust pipes were each the size of a football - a small child could get stuck in them if they fell in. It should be outlawed - the NSPCC should get on to it!!

french cars! i was in a Ax gt and we had a smash with a mate on a motor bike! you would think the bike would have came of worse! nope bike had a bent indicator! car had a f**ked bumper, light grill, bonnet basicaly the front end had to be replaced! oh yeah i forgot to say we were only doing 15MPH! im never geting in a french car as long as i live!!!! i word to sum french cars up! Merde!

A short French lesson for you. When referring to "you" one can use either "tu" or "vous". In the case of you knowing that person or being a friend you would use "tu". In the case of you not knowing that person you would use"vous".At least you know what sh!t head is, but surely the correct way of putting it would be head then sh!t.

Correct with the tu n vous but seeing as u have been talking a load of crap on this forum for so long now,i do feel like i know u,unfortunately!And if u want to get technical when it comes to speaking or writing the french language,maybe u should read up on the past and present tenses which r used when learning french!I think u will find with alot of french language that the s-h-i-t wud come before the head but in ur case it just seems to come out of ur mouth rather than ur a-r-s-e!

Ps I drive a 205 1.9 gti, my g/f drives a mk2 golf gti, both good cars, both differant, but my preference in ownership stands because I personnally find the 205's handling and response awsome, and i have driven many cars

However the content of you post, although you say is to point out to some in here that are in breach of their registration,(or even that you find it amusing) leads to a simple conclusion, that you are in fact trying to fuel a fire that you are supposedly finding adolescent. If you really found it so purile and you laugh at the lengthy reponses that are made, why, then, present yourself in the exact same manner that you are ridiculing?
Do you really wish to keep the German-French battle going, because if you did not then why post on here, as many of the members involved in the "war" have already layed their pens to rest and have returned to the more important problems we encounter here.

my intent really is of observation and try to reflect to your goodselves just exactly how some people behave in what is supposed to be a car enthusiasts club, Im actually not presenting myself in the same manner as the general theme on this thread ie I have made no insinuations of anybodys sexuality or member size, I have not slagged off the car that this forum revolves around and I havent used foul or obusive language to describe or insult anyone on here. I merely intend to point out the very immature behavior, which as I have already stated I find amusing. This behavior is just not present on a very good car forum of which i help moderate, or indeed many other forums that i visit. If you want respect for this place, then perhaps someone ought to start pulling the strings.
