Hi all,
back after 7 years! sold our 1991 Blue Rivage when the kids came along, 7 years down the roadI needed a Dub in my life again!
Saw this thing a few weeks back and had to buy it.

its my 3rd Golf and 2nd Rivage I have owned.
bodywork isnt too bad as its been sprayed before, interior is tatty and looks like its been replaced with a tatty uncared for leather or it is just tatty and uncared for :(.
a list to tackle first
- brakes - serious juddering - FIXED - new discs and pads and new Caliper bolt
- oil leak - camshaft oil seal, sump gasket
- timing - engine is very pinky
- lights switch light bulb
- flash light on the cluster - blue light doesnt come on
- MFA backlight-
- interior mirror - aftermarket replacement just wobbles
- Rivage wheels - originals need refurb
- locks - have two keys - have to check if handles are genuine VAG else i`ll have to source some to rebarrel
- Seatbelts - a little frayed as the spring from bottom is missing
- gearknob - knackered needs new one
- handbrake- leather missing
- leather steering wheel - missing ! has a standard non leather one
- filler neck - has been replaced with a tin top one as it doesnt sit straight + locking cap is the wrong sort and has no key!
- electric aerial - has a fixed one
- Bonnet - needs a respray
so anyone with a clean rivage interior for sale id be interested! carpets the lot! :)
