Hi guys

I have a mk2 Golf GTI 8v which was registered 30 Jan '91 and I understand this means it is officially a '91. But I'm guessing that means it will have actually been built late in '90, as I wouldn't have thought that they were built and got to dealer and registered within 4 weeks?

How long did they take to build, and am I right in thinking it should be referred to as a '91?

I think anyone in your position would say they had a '91 Golf :)

Ha thank u JV. I wasn't sure if it went off build year or date registered u see.
