Hi new to forum, a little help needed before i shoot dealer.....
Bought my 05 plate gti from a dealer up north on friday and while on motorway on way back to milton keynes the tyre pressure warning light came on. I tried resetting but still appears, spoke to dealer and the said they fitted new tyre to it before collection. I checked front tyres and noticed they are 2 different brands with odd tyre pattern.
Does anyone know if this is wrong for dealer to mix front tyres ?

thats crap mate, get them to sort it out... supplying a brand new motor with odd tyres is just daft.

Front wheel drive+200bhp+odd tyres= problem. By the sounds of it you are a distance away from them so I would get onto the dealers ASAP and get them to arrange refitting with a local dealer.

That is just completely unacceptable !! NEVER EVER use different tyres, and a dealer putting it on should be reported to VW.....

Get both fronts replaced with new, use the same make model as is on the back.

Not good, mate. i bet the car's pulling left/right - all over the shop!
Get dealer to replace immediately!
