Undecided whether to change - yay or nay?

For me it's a nay. Maybe a yay on a white GTD.
-
For me it's a nay as well. It just looks like someone nicked the silver bit. The wing mirrors look sweet though!
-
Nay :(
-
i think the mk7 badge is too large to pull the black look off
-
Sorry but nay from me. Although it might be ok in the flesh!
-
I think it could work with a more aggressive stance and black wheels, but then you're going somewhere you probably don't want to go!
-
A nay from me also. I usually like the look of a black front emblem, on certain MK7's and certain colors. But the GTD grille, having that chrome, in the headlights, and the GTD logo, the Black just doesnt match as well. Looks better stock. But the mirrors though
-
Nay again from my but like others, I do like the mirrors - painted, wrapped or new casings ? Any details please as looking to potentially do this myself.
-
A Nay for me...
It would look like you've joined the Halfords fan club.
OEM far better.
-
Nay because there is too much silver detail on the front of the GTD.
If you'd changed a lot of the trim for a Audi "black edition" look, then maybe but you are heading into McDonalds car park racer territory here.
I guess it has to happen sooner or later to a Mk7 ;-)
-
Definetly not. The black emblem on the front of the GTD looks a bit weird to me.
-
I'm sensing some negativity
Don't worry, was just playing in Photoshop after seeing a pic of my old Mk2 GTI (looked just like this) with the OEM black badge

Fitted genuine VW covers, bought prepainted in black from ebay.de - dead easy to fit as a 10 minute job
-
100% nay
-
Not for me but i like it on the Mk2.
