hello there im just after some advise, im a currently looking at purchasing a mark 5 gti but unfortunately my budget does not stretch to buy a low mileage model.
The current car i am going to look at soon has covered 100k, is that kind of mileage still alright or should i try to avoid purchasing a high mileage gti.
many thanks

all depends on loads of factors! depends what them miles were like. if hard then a no no! personally try stay away from a high mileage although some people argue that the golfs can run and run and run! try go for a older mk5 but with fewer miles!

hey chris thanks for your reply, i hunted around a little more and managed to find a mark 5 golf gti within my prince range with a full vw service history and 70k on the clock which is much more like it. Full black leather interior 18inch monza 2 alloys few other bits and pieces. owed it for 3 weeks and absolutly love it!
