Ok, so for the last few days I have noticed my car is being a bit temperamental with 2nd gear.
First few times it happened, I popped it into second I got the textbook grinding noise, thought nothing of it, just lack of concentration or the guy who cleaned my car adjusted the seat or whatever.
Over the last day or so it has got a lot worse. 2nd grinds out almost every time, and pops out of gear if I'm not holding it. I have to give it a really firm yank to get it into second and hold it until I release the clutch.
I had my flywheel and clutch replaced 2 weeks ago.....anyone have any experience with this one? Or am I yet again the first person with this fault also.
Ps : I think this is about fault 12-13

Apparently this could be a synchro fault....now I'm driving a 1.2TSI automatic polo in brown.

Collected the car on Wednesday evening after the gearbox had been fixed. They also found a faulty shock absorber mount and ACC fault. Drive it 25 miles and got a check engine light on.
Returned to the dealer and now I have a problem with the inlet valve on the manifold.....
I am now pressing a rejection

I don't blame you, what an absolute nightmare of car ownership

How long have you had the car? Not impossible, but far more difficult to reject the car after 6 months.
Is the car back to stock right now? Might attract some attention for items they've previously chosen not to see/report once started down the rejection road. You could end up with rejection refusal and no warranty for anything that could be affected by your mods.

The car is completely stock, the dealership I use is excellent and have agreed I should get a new car, but VWFS who lease the car to me don't agree, apparently its fine my car is continually broken....

Completely stock ???
Your signature would suggest otherwise !!

Lol I had Clive remove it all just before I went to the dealer. Although I know in theory it could get TD1 flagged, they have done an update and tweak on the ACC and had it all plugged in for CEL fault read and haven't said anything.

Ah well - that mystery is solved. I took one look at your sig and thought that they'd take one look and say "no way".

It's a pity that there isn't some kind of financial mobility guarantee - like if the car is at the dealership for more than a week in any given month, you don't pay your PCP to VWFS that month.
