Title: coilover suspension question
Post by: celery on 10 March 2015, 20:14
Was just wondering if coilovers for the mk5 gti and mk5 golf gt tdi are the same? As in width length etc.

regards

Check the front axle weights. TDI is heavier

Thanks for the info. What would happen if you put the gt tdi suspension on a gti?

The Mk5 has 2 strut sizes/diameters (I'm sure both the gti and gttdi are 55mm though?), If you going for lower cost one's they will be all the same spring rating for all engines

(b.t.w I sell fk ak's in both 50 & 55mm versions)

thank boneybradley but i have some gt tdi fk konigsport coilovers and want to fit them to a gti. Do the konigsport coilovers have the same damper rating for both cars?
