Title: Aum oil leak

Hello,

Noticed today that I have an oil leak from the right hand side of the motor if your looking at it from the front, it all seams to be fresh oil around underneath the silver air pump, don't think it's the half moon seal as it's fairly dry around it, I get a oil burning smell to, don't seem to be loosing any oil on the dipper, has anyone had the problem,  it's pooling up on top of the gearbox, cheers

on top of the gearbox is a weird place, have you checked all around the TIP etc from underneath?

100% sure it isn't the rocker cover gasket? There's quite a bit going on down that side of the engine, fairly difficult to see.

Sounds silly, but could it be leaking coolant, mixed with the cake on top of the box?  The notorious temp sender housing is located above there ;)
