Title: Tailgate lock

Hi all, I'm looking for an original tailgate lock for my MK2 GTi. I bought one from VW heritage and once fitted the T piece that the rod pushes against to open snapped first time I pushed the button. Cheap tatty Chinese plastic by the looks of it, so I'm looking for an original VW one. Anyone know where I can get one?

Second hand from ebay probably. My car is currently onto its second pattern tailgate lock, the aftermarket isn't great for locks and handles in my experience.

By the way if you haven't discovered already you can undo a screw at the back of the lock and pull the barrell out (make sure the key is in to retain the tumblers). Handly if you want to keep the leys the same.
