Title: The long wait begins - Build Week question

Hi all,

Have just received my order number and plugged it into the VW tracker. So excited but I think the tracker is just going to tease me for the next few months. I have been told week 22 for my build date. How long after that would I expect the car to be in the UK?

Also as week 22 is a long way off when would you normally see build week confirmed come up on the tracker?

I only ordered the car a week ago and its too much already!!! ha

Have learnt a lot over the last few days reading posts on here, I'm sure i will read most posts by the time i get the car.

At this point BW 22 is just a 'guess' - the factory decides when to build your car and will confirm the date four weeks before (you will see this on the tracker).

After that its three to four weeks until collection

I've been told around 2 weeks after build to get to the dealers in Ireland, but I'd plan on it taking 3 weeks as your car might sit for a while if it misses the boat.
