Title: Stripped threads

Hi I'm part way through changing the timing belt on my agu and the Allen head bolt for the tensioner won't tighten down.it looks as though the threads have been stripped at some stage I've got a thread repair kit which is m8x1.25 and the bolt don't fit.does anyone know what size the bolt is please

from what you have posted the bolt is an M8 the M means metric and the 8 is the diameter of the thread

M8 is an 8mm thread and you need a 13mm socket to tighten

is this what you were after?
