Title: A lot of pre-registrations going on ?

Having a nose on the approved us website tonight.. Anyone noticed rather a lot of nearly new gti's at the big dealer groups ? Parkway Derby and Leeds VW and inchcape have several.. 6 each GTi's for sale looks like a lot of late 2014 pre registering or maybe all you R guys trading in ?'  :wink:

Thinking it might be a good opportunity to take one off their hands at much reduced price ..

Probably just the dealerships pre registering to make the figures look good for year end?

I expect VW UK had a load of them to offload following Leasegate with the R's so punted them on to dealers at very good rates who then found it easier/better to pre register them for some obvious (to them) financial gain from VW UK.
There were quite a lot of pre-reg'd Sciroccos and GTD's knocking about too, so I'm guessing VW were doing some sort of dealer promotion like they do from time to time. It seems to be all about SUV's and people carriers at the moment for VW judging by the stock at my local dealer.
