Can anyone help..
A few weeks back when starting my mk3, i had a puff of smoke out of my steering wheel/ignition column. Some lads on the facebook groups said it probably the ignition switch.
That was about 4 months ago and now it wont start 75% of the time. I turn the key and either nothing happens/theres a delay to start or the rare occasion of it firing up first time.
Anyone have an idea of what it could be, parts and cost?
Ive paid for a spare ignition switch off a breaker but he's 'struggling to get it off without damaging it'
All help appreciated.
