Title: Revo question
Post by: remlapeel on 20 February 2015, 21:22
Strange question.

I got my car back today but struggling to tell if the map is still in there. Before you say I'm crazy, let me explain.

My clutch has been slipping for 3 weeks so I couldn't give it a heavy foot.

I have been without my car for 2 days and I have been driving a 1.4 diesel blue motion polo

They filled my car up, so I'm assuming they have used 95ron fuel

When I picked it up, I had my wife in the car....so you know lol.

Is there anyway to check other than visit my revo dealer?

If you have vcds you can do some live logging, should give you a rough idea of internal torque etc?

If you film your clocks while doing a 0-60 Sprint , you can look back & find out how long it took, should be 5.5 sec revoed , 6.5 stock.

Had a quick blast earlier and I'm convinced it's back to stock. Don't get the shove I got with the revo map. Got an appt with my revo dealer on Wednesday to have it sorted.

May well be reset at dealers. I had this on a BMW 335i that was mapped. Dealer wiped map but company that did it sorted me out for free.

I was told that if the battery is unplugged for a prolonged period of time the ecu resets. They had the car for 2 days whilst doing the clutch. I have assumed I won't have to pay to get it put back on....

If it reverts to Revo stock you need SPS or trip to agent

Think it says on their website that they'll replace the map for free.
