Hey Guys!
Just bought my 1st GTi! Its a 2001 mk4 1.8T.
I was wondering if anybody could tell me whether the small hose behind the MAF senser thing is supposed to be squashed like that?
It doesnt appear to be effecting the performance but then again...I don't know what to look out for!!
Excuse my ignorance as I'm very new to this but learning quickly!! ;)

Any help would be awesome!
Cheers!

I would say no..

Is that not the line for the brake booster?

Brake booster...cool gonna go research that and get learning!! Im assuming it isnt supposed to look like that?
Got my haynes manual coming soon to help me identifying parts! ;)

Looking at that it's being bodged (badly repaired) by someone using a piece of hose that's not capable of holding the vacuum! It should be 1 continuous pipe although they can be pricey (last 1 i did was about £45)

Thanks for the help guys! I shall source a new one of them and get stuck in! Is it best to swap it for an original part or is there an upgrade i can do while its being changed anyway?
