Title: Doors unlocking and all windows rolling down on there own

Hi all I bought my first ever car a few days ago a golf gti turbo mk4 and have imideatle hit a problem I went to bed tonight and woke up to the noise of my windows rolling down so I shot out of bed like a mad man when I got to the car there was no one around the car was unlocked and all the windows were down so I put the windows up and go to bed again this is now about the fifth time in two hours it's happend and I cant bare to go back to bed not knowing at least what is causing this please help thanks

Can u not just disconnect the battery and manually lock it for tonight at least u will be able to sleep  :smiley:

Just checked the key doesn't work the door locks it only locks off the button :(

Does anyone know how to get all four windows to stay up just for a few days until I have time and money to take it to my local garage

Great took my battery out lastnight put. It back in this morning qnd now my cqrvwont start turns over but wont start come on some one please

Maybe your battery is knackered weird stuff happened to my car before and changed the battery and seem to be ok after that
