Title: front end face lift, now with new improved pics!!!
Post by: golfpro on 16 September 2005, 17:04: As everyone who went to E38 (han's lil bro in particular) iv been updating the front end of my mk3. Well after a new splitter, smoked indicators and fogs iv finally got round to payin someone else to fit my lightsÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â :tongue:. See for yourself, i like! Not the best pictures btw.

Been gettin quotes from locals for gettin the splitter smothed into the bumper and sprayed, want to mesh it all then possibly a bew bonnet coz mine is buggered! then thats the front done. nearly thereÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â :rolleyes:

Post by: Fielder5757 on 16 September 2005, 17:21: its a little hard to tell but from what i can see its the RA designs Type E splitter, same as i have on my mk2, I love that splitter. it looks good on most cars. Good choice.

One question (assuming you got it off E-bay) is it fiberglass or Plastic?

The back end changes could be - smooth look.... but that will mean metal work and respray... properly not worth it....

You must be kidding me....I just spent all bloody weekend and all night monday night fitting my new arches and ive still not finished, but i guess nothing is ever good for you is it Mix! Its just want want want with you....Well ive had enaugh...I want a divorce, and you can have your cheap ring back! you can give it to one of those sl*ts down the pub your always drinking with!

So urm..yeah, i just fitted the bodycoloured GTI arches, pics will be posted next week, In the meantime keep an eye out for Richgits Mk2, I saw it when it was half way through having the new arches fitted, there gonna be fecking HUGE!

Post by: kniterider on 21 September 2005, 15:11: dunno... i thought it was ok at first, and would have prob looked good colour coded proper, but the cut out blanks for the bumper/bonnet were just foul mate!!, ive seen a grill i like one some ones mk4 in the mk4 section but dont know what kind it is??
