Title: Keyless and Ignition...
Post by: ajmoir36 on 01 February 2015, 22:22
Is it possible to just turn on the ignition without starting the car with the keyless system? Cant seem to find it in the horrendous mk7 manual.

Don't touch the pedal and press the start button once. :afro:

Something mentioned on another forum is that when you switch the engine off using the button, if you want the interior lights to come on (as they would do if you removed a conventional key from the ignition) this will not happen until you open the door....

Interesting I wonder if this could be tweaked by VCDS to bring them on with stop button.
