Title: vagcom vcds lite

Got an obd cable and Ross Techs vcds lite form fleabay. Have connected latop top ok but it will only communicate with the common 01:engine controller. For everything else it say sno response form controller. This includes the 3 engine controllers under the drivetrain tab.
My car is a yr2000 1.8t.
I was expecting it to do a bit more than this. Anyone else have experience of vcds lite? thanks

Did you choose the correct chassis type on the autoscan?
