hi all newby here just took delivery yesterday of my Oryx White GTI mk7 PP... have to say so far first impressions are   :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: however im not loving the $%&* westher to go with it  :angry:

anyway im new here so thought id say hi, please go easy on me if i ask any duplicate questions

Hi and welcome!  yes its a shame about the weather - especially in your neck of the woods.

Whats the spec on the GTI?

Tell us more about the spec and more importantly PICS!!!!

Don't worry about duplicate questions, have a search then ask away as it's surprising how much information gets quickly buried in the forum and it's surprising how much everyone forgets about their car with features they don't use very often.
For instance the last car I drove with a cruise control was a dealer loan car which was completely different to the mk7 so when I encountered a 50mph temporary limit the other day I had to pull over and read the manual to remind me of how to set it, and it's pretty darn simple once you remember! A real "D'oh!" moment!

At least the crappy weather means you'll be taking it easy while you run the car in and it'l certainly give the diff a workout.
