Title: Turbo Actuator test
Post by: Tezmax on 14 January 2015, 18:18
How do i check my Turbo Actuator is working correctly without removing it?
I removed the vacuum hose and was led to believe the rod should move about
an inch but it didn't move anywhere :undecided:

Also do sticky vanes in a turbo occur more on diesels than petrols or about the same

Thanks.

try reving it to red line and let go while looking at the  Actuator to see if it moves but leave the hose on

If you have a boost gauge you should be able to electrically unplug the n75 and see how worn your actuator spring is
