Post by: vineshc on 14 January 2015, 08:11
Hoping some one can help please i am having issues with the central locking drivers side.  i can't seem to connect up all the rods correctly from the actuator pump to the door pin, does anyone have a picture on what it should look like please?

This should give you an idea

The rod from the central locking pump connects to number 5 on the diagram, which is a white plastic lever that attaches to the door lock mechanism. The rod for the door pin also attaches to this. It's fiddly to attach everything, might have to undo the door lock to see what's going on.

There's one rod that goes from the white lever to the actuator. Don't recognise the bit you've pictured, might be from something aftermarket that was installed in the past.

That's a wire clamp mate, not required on factory central locking...

Are you sure you don't have an aftermarket kit fitted?
