Title: Red Anni Stripes on bumpers/trim diy?
Post by: dragonsteve on 11 January 2015, 14:06
Hi there, whats the best way to do the red anniversary stripes on the bumpers/side trim?

I don't want to paint them on as I want to be able to return to standard if I grow bored of them, I bought some tape stuff online that was like a clear tape with a red line running through it (it was 3mm, 6mm would be better?) Thing is I tried sticking it on the bumper and it just fell straight off again.

If I find a better quality 6mm red tape, whats the best way to prep the groove around the bumpers to ensure a good stick?

Thanks in advance

Coach line tape off eBay 271195667019

Prep the bumpers first with something like carb cleaner
