Title: MK3 Rear Light Cluster Plugs
Post by: benjy_b on 09 January 2015, 12:15
On the rear light clusters of the MK3 there are a couple of socket connections that aren't used. I'm presuming these are used when fitting a tow bar or a third brake light.

Can anyone help me in finding the part numbers for the male plug connectors that fit into these sockets?

I have altered my rear light configuration so I now have four brake lights, one fog light and one reversing light. To do this I have bridged two terminals on the N/S cluster, ran a direct feed for the Fog light and swapped two terminals on the O/S cluster

I have used female spade connectors at the moment but am wishing to find the male plug connectors and wiring it up properly.

if your trying to do a proper OEM job, take a look at this.

I got to make a loom up for the US spec central locking switch, this came in handy to work out what I need to buy.
