Title: will a golf mk3 2l 16v engine n gearbox fit in to my golf mk3.5 convertible

iv a 2l 8v in at the moment(sack of sh!t ), will I need to change any thing eg wiring clocks etc, will it fit straight in.

It's a straight easy swap and yes you will need engine loom, clocks, ECU ect.

What about shafts into the 4 stud hbs ?

What about shafts into the 4 stud hbs ?

Use the original four stud hubs and shafts with the 16v box. Or swap the whole lot over and make it five stud including the rear axle.
