Help guys, have just Mate, I fitted the rns 510 into my golf exactly how they said on the golfgtiforum and it was all good for a couple of minutes. Then the car just went funny, radio went off. Climate control wasnt working and an airbag light came on the dash! So i thought it must be something to do with the new radio, so pulled it out put the original back in exactly as it was and everything seemed to be ok but when i try and start the car, nothing happens. Like the batteries dead

Please help guys, do you reckon the rns510 was faulty?!

Also, now that i've disconnected the battery will the revo remap still be on the car??
-
the map will still be on the car, at worst it may have reverted to "stock mode" and could need setting back to performance mode with an sps switch or revo dealer tool.
checking for blown fuses should be your first step, I can't imagine what may have gone wrong

I think it may actually be the battery that's dead! I tried the battery charger onit just incase and it was shiwing it was absolutely flat! So hopefully thars all it is, cross fingers! Nor me, i cant see any reason why instslling the radio would cause a genuine mechanical problem, i just assumed it was that i think as it was what i was doing st the same time coincidently!

fuse? could have blown a few fuses? cars of today are so finely electronically tuned the odd thing can send the car into mad mode
