Hi All,
I've bought the interior LED light upgrade kit off eBay for my GTD but I've lost the bottle to do it. Anyone in or around the Bolton area who fancies doing it for me? There is a crate of Beer of their choice in it.
Thanks,
Dan

Honestly it's easy to do, and this is a great guide.

Don't panic take your time and it will be easy.
This is what my car looked like during my Xenon retrofit when the car was 8 months old

Not totally necessary, but a trim removal kit is very useful thing to have for this type of thing. Failing that a credit card does the trick when you do the map/dome lights. Go careful with the vanity lights, you need to make sure you're easing the casing out from the correct side (has a little metal clip inside), otherwise there's a danger of cracking the light cover. I narrowly avoided this

Totally - about 4 quid on ebay for a selection of plastic tools to jab at stuff!

I used a free starbucks card! Got like 20 of them in case I need to scrape ice off the windscreen and stuff

As long as you are methodical, it's not as daunting as it looks. It's only screws and clips and the wiring connectors will only fit where they are supposed to go. Also being a VAG, it will all fit back together with a satisfying "click"

You'll all be pleased to know that I did the upgrade this morning. All went really well apart from the rear middle dome LED didn't work and I managed to break the front passenger vanity light. Ordered a new one from VW for £8.99 so no big deal.
Will post up some pics when it gets dark.
I used my mountain bike tyre removal tool and an oyster card to do the job.
Thanks for the advice guys

Don't forget LED's only work one way round, try flipping it before getting another bulb.
