Did something eat the number plates when in storage .
If it had not been run every couple of months the engine seals will be rock hard
Last car I looked at that had been stored for a few years ended up being written off same sort of format no plates or a link to check history some times they are hidden away for a reason.
The price is getting into mk4 territory and away from the scrap value which unfortunately is affecting a majority of our mk3's at the mo. .

Makes me laugh when prople say dry stored for x amount of years. Old cars like this need to be driven. Who cares about milage its a slow 1.8 5 door which has apparently not seen the road for 11 years. Only use would be the shell (if in good condition) for engine conversion.

To be fair you really need to see something like this in the flesh to determine value given the vaguely depicted ad. Looks pretty good though.

Shame it's a crappy spec 5dr but It looks really tidy.

Price is silly high due to the amount of work it will need.

Although to be fair being 'dry stored' doesn't imply it's not been used or maintained over that period and by the sounds of the ad and the fact it's mot'd, along with service stamps, suggest it's not been simply perishing away for the past 11 years.
