Hi,
On a 2009 Mk6 Golf with daytime running lights, should the rear lights come on aswell - or is it just the front ones?
Thanks
-
Just the front ones buddy

Didn't think the 2009's came with daytime running lights? I leave mine on auto so front and rears are on most of the time.
-
Just the fronts.
I little VCDS tweek I found was that you can set it so that one DRL turns off when its corresponding indicator is turned on, just like the Mk7. As the DRLs and indicators are right next to each other, it makes the indicator more noticeable.

Nope all Mk6s have DRLs even 2009 cars.

If it has xenons the front and rear lights are on for drls on the earlier models before they got the front lights with the led dtrl in them in iirc 2011.

Great, cheers guys.

The tweak, i'm just getting to the end of my bulb error woes. Big thank you to Mike for his long code. Just looking for something special now to impress the local kids...i'm kidding

Is it CECM, coding, byte 15, check bit 3?

2009 with halogen lights only the fronts come on, or if you are like me turn them off  so i have one key running with DRL and another running without.
