When you put a genuine CD into play should it show the track listings and album art. I was under the impression that almost all new cds had embedded track titles and artwork on them. Put my 11yr old daughters new Ed sheeran disc in yesterday and got no track titles or album art. Anyone else had the same?

As far as I know not all CDs have embedded CD text.
It was or is Sonys development and they always implement it on their discs so maybe there is a copyright on it?
However I'm sure its been mentioned here that the Sat NAV pro has CDDB (Compact Disc Database) which matches a CD to its list in the Database then displays the info. Maybe the Ed Sheeran is to new for it?

I'll try a Sony disc and see what happens and Ed sheerans is the new disc so the gracenote database won't recognise it.
