Hi, I was checking the oil earlier when I noticed that there is a pipe connected under the inlet manifold that has been blocked off, what is it? (I have an agu)

Thanks, Mo

Itll be something deleted i think, 249 or sai
-
Pretty sure it's part of the pcv, these pipes a prone to rotting out. There are silicone replacements on ebay.Look here and you wil see where it connects to http://nomads.eurodiscussion.net/t1343-pcv-positive-crank-ventilation-20vt

I'm pretty sure my car doesn't have all that additional stuff, well I definitely couldn't see it earlier anyway.
-
AGU doesn't have SAI or N249.
From memory I think that pipe should connect to the top of your PCV...
-
Ah ok, assumed they all did.
Only done my sai delete recently, was amazed at how much of it there was, felt good getting rid
-
Thanks for the info, does my car actually need the pcv? because someone obviously thought that it didn't.
-
Not if you ditch it all for a catch can
-
I don't have a catch can either :undecided:
I hate the guy who modified my car, he hasnt done any mods that are worthwhile

did you not notice this before you bought the car

I didn't know what to look out for when i first bought it to be honest.
The problems I've had to fix so far are -
he had the front higher than the back by a good inch or 2,
had the forge 007p installed as an atmospheric dump valve,
cut a hole in my bumper to suit the fmic, rather than hiding it behind the bumper,
hid a small cone filter inside the air box (smaller than the panel filter),
sheared a stud for an aftermarket downpipe he installed
and i'm sure theres more to come too

that's a small list that's easy to fix

Easy, but almost all of it cost money to fix
