Title: Oil consumption on Audi TFSi engine

It's the latest horror story from the BBC, but doesn't seem to be an issue on this forum.

My car just turned 55555 miles and doesn't use any oil between services.

Which engines are supposed to be affected?
Knowing the BBC it has probably been blown out of proportion.

No problems with mine either at 45k. Have an intermediate service (oil and filter change) as well as annual service and the level never changes between services.
