Bought myself a 1.6 driver last week, I know it has the wrong bumpers on but it will all be changing. (http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq349/corsalee/6D0566CB-B058-48FF-A705-506362D6904C.jpg) (http://s462.photobucket.com/user/corsalee/media/6D0566CB-B058-48FF-A705-506362D6904C.jpg.html)
Basically it runs like an absolute dream when warm, but when I first start it it's also fine then 30 secs later it stalls itself and soon as I turn it back over it starts and runs fine. Sometimes it's a bit choky on cold start up.
I'm just wondering if this is a fuel filter problem? Possibly clogged up?
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Most likely a fault in the Pierburg carburettor cold start system, it is very complex and difficult to fix. We had one about 8 years ago, there were a few specialists around that did refurbs but often a Weber conversion seemed to be the best option. Check the temperature senders first.
