Picked up a new mk4 and it has an issue with the boot lock.
The boot appears to have been swapped due to a smashed window judging by the bits of glass I found.
They didn't swap the locks over though so my key doesn't match the barrel and its also missing a bit of the mechanism so won't lock.
I think I can get away with buying a replacement lock mech with a barrel but do I need the key to get the mechanism off the handle?
