Title: Mk4 GT TDI PD 115, 2000
Post by: Haribo! on 17 December 2014, 13:55
So I went to wagon worx today for a remap...... Out came the ECU, and after lots of tries, he couldn't get any data from it. No communication I think he said.

So no Remap for me. He was pretty shocked as it is a PD engine but being a 2000 he said it might be because it's a really really PD.

Has anyone else come across this issue and is there a reasonable way around it or do I just not get to have a remap after all?

Apparently the ECU didn't look right, he said the casing was different to how it normally is.

There is a handful of these kicking about. Basically its stuck between the old 110 v pump engine and the 115pd

Chip on the ECU needs to be changed so you can flash it
