there's been pics on home page for ages, inc interior, to be honest i reckon it looks pants, looks like a standard gti, not nearly rude enough.....try this 1 for size.....

i would have one, they got it looking a little bit more tame, so it'll surprise the scoobies better now

i have been out in one at the weekend!!! before someone says bull**** i have a mate who works for Audi press office so gets the pleasure of checking all new cars before they go to the magazines...
anyway got a question just ask...
i can honestly say i wouldn't trade my GTI for one and pay the extra.
Yes its nice to look at but understated,
the front grill looks plastic (chrome instead of black)
the inserts on the inside which on the GTI are brushed alloy ARE plastic !
the rest of th einside is really no different excet the needles are blue and not red.
On the outside the body kit , all coluor coded looks good although the rear defuser is not as good as expected.
Although it is as quick as the GTI it certainly didn't feel it although this had only 600 miles on the clock.
the power delivery is very smooth, but slower through the gears.
however the noise it makes is terrific!!, when yuo see the size of the 2 single exhuasts comming out of the back you will look twice and understand why, they must be the biggest factory fit items ever, i cannot labour enough on how big they are.
on the down side though the best we could manage was 24 mpg the worst 14mpg pushing my GTI i can get at least 25mpg and at best 35mpg.

There is an article on it in the new golf+ and they reckon its loads better than the GTi, it doesent look anywhere near as good as the old R32 in my opinion tho
-
also an article in EVO; comparing it with the new 130i from BMW; just loses out apparently. Looking at the pics it seems awkward to me; especially at the back with the twin tail pipes :undecided:

I agree with chopper on the looks, it looks tacky in places and that crome front just dont do it for me sorry :undecided:
The Gti looks are loads better, if they could combine the 2 they would be on a winner, plus the 2.0t will be a lot more tunable, just a shame it aint 4wd

happy with my gti for now, if i get bored i agree you can always tune it up.
i am happy they are keeping the front grill for the gti, it gives the car an edge over the look of the r32, although i would'nt mind the rear of the r32 on my gti.
has anyone seen the new 2.0l jetta, it has the gti grill on the front?

I'm the same, i prefer the mark 4 r32, and if i had the choice i would rather get one of those.
