Title: MK2 golf gti dash removal/wiring problem
Post by: borax on 08 December 2014, 19:16
Hi,

i have just taken the dash out of my MK2 golf gti CE2, to replace matrix and general squeak issues. When i pulled the dash off there was one black cable that i couldn't find a break in so i just cut it. I have now put it all back together (mostly) and can i find the other end of the black cable? can i f*k!

Anyway, i have taken a picture of the end i can find. It comes from bulkhead/inner arch area in a conduit with a thick brown wire, the other end cant be too far away?

Incidentally the MFA and rev counter aren't working, might be another issue, picture of wires below

is this not the wire that connects to the back of the interior light switch located in the door jamb?
