iam a little worried about my rear sidelights threw the smoked hella magic colours, TBH they are not all that bright and i was wondering if buying some red led bulbs like this
(http://i13.ebayimg.com/01/i/04/30/e1/63_2.JPG)
you get 2 for £5.99 off of ebay.. just wondering if anybody has used Leds in the rear lights and if they are a little brighter at all.
cheers

The problem with these is that they don't shine back toward the reflector only straight out of the lamp so you may find the light emitted from the lamp duller :undecided:
( I believe that they state on the packets that they're for off-road use only ,but it's up to you :lipsrsealed: )

I have some LED's for my rear clusters, including my indicators, with the use of a resistor on each side (installed in 3 mins) they work fine and have had them for a year, firstly on my GTI and on the 4mo (now sold!)! I am yet to fit them on my current MK4
